What is GreenWood’s Solar Splash Birthday Festival?
The Birthday Festival is our special summer celebration marking 10 years of Solar Splash. Expect a full park takeover of party vibes with bubbles, foam, entertainment and themed decorations. It’s packed with family fun, including daily Bubbleologist shows, epic Foam Parties, and plenty of photo-worthy moments throughout the park.
Is the Birthday Festival included in my ticket price?
Yes! All the entertainment and activities are included in your standard admission; however there may be a few craft activities that are extra.
Do I need to book in advance?
We recommend booking online to guarantee entry and get the best price. Peak days can sell out quickly during summer holidays.
Is the Birthday Festival suitable for all ages?
Absolutely. There’s something for kids and adults – from gentle rides to wild shows and creative crafts. We suggest that GreenWood is most suitable for children ages 2-12.

As part of the Government’s VAT Summer Saver initiative, GreenWood Family Park has reduced ticket prices throughout the summer, giving families even better value on their day out.
From exciting rides and outdoor adventures to woodland play areas and hands-on activities, there’s plenty to enjoy. With lower ticket prices and a full day of family fun, there’s never been a better time to make magical summer memories at GreenWood Family Park.
Why are your prices lower this summer?
This summer, GreenWood Family Park is taking part in the Government’s VAT Summer Saver initiative, allowing us to reduce ticket prices and offer even better value for families.
Do I need a discount code or voucher to access the summer savings?
The discount is already applied to the prices shown online, so there’s nothing extra you need to do – simply book your visit and enjoy the savings.
How much will I save?
The Government has temporarily reduced VAT on admission tickets from 20% to 5% at eligible UK family attractions between 25 June and 1 September 2026.
When does the offer end?
The Summer Savings offer is available from 25 June to 1 September 2026, in line with the Government’s temporary VAT reduction initiative.
To take advantage of the savings, simply book tickets for visits taking place before the offer ends on 1 September 2026.
How do I return for free this summer?
Book directly with us and enjoy a FREE return visit within 7 days of your first visit!
To claim your free return visit, simply bring:
- Your original ticket confirmation (printed or on your phone)
- Photo ID (such as a driving licence) matching the lead booker, who must be present
Please note:
- Offer is only valid on direct bookings.
- Return visits are subject to availability and at the discretion of the park team.
- Free Return Offer valid from 1st July to 31st August. One free return visit must be redeemed within 7 days of the 1st visit. Last redeemable 2nd visit is 31st August.
